One of the things I aspire on experiencing before I even get my bones all too brittle is to sail on the vast ocean. There's nothing like conquering the mercurial power of the sea, possessing a vista with no corners and ends, and having the prerogative to just go where the wind takes you. The world suddenly becomes all yours to explore the moment the ship breaks away from the chains of reality. Witness as the harbor fades into a distant dream.
The Boat
Now it's just you and the boat. Feel it breathing, dancing alongside the sound of the waves. Be acquainted with it because from now on, you two will be companions in an unforgettable escapade. Find your way into it's heart, and it will lead you to the doors of it's hatch. Open the reward in the form of a comfortable room that will be more willing enough to foster a sailor. Discover the wonders you can do with the boat. Swallow your fear and stand on deck, presume full control over it's direction. Quit whinning if even after all the risky 360 degree turns you have completed, the eyes see nothing but more ocean. Calm down, the earth is just reminding you of it's incomparable size and splendor.
The Sailor
By this time you may have probably sailed across the equator. Or perhaps you're still trapped in traffic with sea dreams. Nonetheless, the ocean is a state of mind, and you can always choose to escape. Better yet, you can choose to face it. When you do come face-to-face with it's majesty, you'll come to realize there's no greater adventure than sailing the seas, standing on the rear end of the vessel and admiring the sunrise. But if by chance you end up bumping the hull into a rock, worry not that you have failed to finish the journey. There is another way. Let your mind drift with the tide. Allow it to finish the journey.
